Well, I located nemo-dbg in the PPA ppa:noobslab/nemo3. Installing it required an upgrade to nemo to version 3.4.7.1-b~zesty~NoobsLab.com.
I ran nemo from gdb, and Nemo did not segfault during the (lengthy) cut-n-paste photo transferring session. Neither did I get the Thumbnail Cache Problem banner (see my Bug #1512039). [However, a possibly-not-related problem reported in that bug report still remains: "Also for some reason, not all photos that are being transferred between tabs retain their selectedness. ALL photos in the tab were being transferred there, yet not all remain selected" Since that problem is more likely related to that bug, I will post some fresh screenshots of that issue for that bug report.] I don't know if the SegFault problem has been solved between my previous version and this new one, or I have just gotten lucky in this latest run. I will update if I get it again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1728699 Title: Nemo crashes with SegFault To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nemo/+bug/1728699/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
