Thanks for the clarification in the last answer, that is helpful for me to find out which ones among the many attempts I made to disable the display of the driverless entries eventually worked (since it could be nice for me to script enabling/disabling actions to place into some network identification logic tied to network manager, to have the driverless printers disabled only where it makes no sense to show them).
