If it is of any help to those working on the bug, these are the steps i
followed to get my satellite p105 sound working in feisty (they no
longer work in gutsy)
*Upgrade your BIOS to version 3.30.
*Download the custom DSDT file for the P100-343 (3.30) from
http://acpi.sourceforge.net/ (via the view menu).
*Backup your "/boot/initrd.img-xxx" and "/boot/vmlinuz-xxx" files (Only for
safety).
*Do a "sudo cp dsdt.aml /etc/initramfs-tools/DSDT.aml" (Is case sensitive!).
*Do a "sudo dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-$(uname -r)".
*Reboot.
