I have the same issue, however, I don't have the same stack trace.
$ firefox -g

Backtrace stopped: previous frame identical to this frame (corrupt stack?)
# dpkg -l | grep firefox

armhf Safe and easy web browser from Mozilla
ii firefox-dbg 57.0.4+build1-0ubuntu0.16.04.1

Anyone knows how can I get a corrupt stack?
