I note that running the following and restarting Ubuntu 16.04 LTS will
fix the problem, having *just* installed the Chrome (63.0.3239.132)
browser and immediately getting the panic regarding libunity9:

```
$ sudo apt-get install --reinstall libunity9
```

Presumably Chrome is the problem here. It likely overwrites the stable
version.
