The existing acpi-support package in Ubuntu is a native package that has always been maintained in Ubuntu, Debian has never been upstream to Ubuntu for it. To drop this blacklist, I would want an affirmative review of the delta from someone to confirm that the Debian changes are correct to include (i.e. this should be treated as a merge, not as a sync).
Also, it's possible that the correct solution here is to remove acpi- support instead, as it's likely that this should be treated as obsolete in favor of modern systemd components. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1748702 Title: Please upgrade that old version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acpi-support/+bug/1748702/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
