According to , the :u quirk mentioned in this bug is equivalent to
US_FL_IGNORE_UAS, which completely disables uas. The US_FL_NO_ATA_1X quirk can
be specified in modprobe.conf as :t. I'm not sure what that quirk does.
Unfortunately I can't test this against my STEA1000400 as it is
currently in off-site storage, but I'll try this when I get it back.
