I did further investigation。 The reason is that, when using Nvdia-340.104 driver, I am not able to type any UPPERCASE letters using the CapsLk key. I discovered this when I click the "Not listed?" link and then type letters in the username input field. All appercase letters are accepted as lowercase only.
A workaround is to user Shift+[a-z] keys to type in uppercase letters. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1750336 Title: Unable to login when using Nvdia-340.104 driver ("password is incorrect" when password contains UPPERCASE letters) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1750336/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
