--Alternate cd-- To be more specific: hangs for 5 minutes on [ 69.075918] usb 3-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice then another 5 minutes on Trying to enable the frame buffer... (minutes are just an estimate...just a long time ) Finally I get the install option of selecting my keyboard (everything seems slowmotion) But after that with hardware recognition it takes ages to get past 0%....Then it hangs at 84% percent, after half an hour....I reboot and give up. It hangs at module 'ide-floppy' for 'Linux IDE floppy' gets loaded.... I unhooked the floppy afterwards, but nothing's different.
