Public bug reported:

During the installation of Ubuntu 17.10, the bootloader fails to
install. (Don't know why it fails but this is not the topic of this bug
report.) A window opens, asking me whether to install on a different
drive or cancel installing. However, the window freezes and the
installer crashes eventually.

After confirming to file a bug report, the "Installation Complete"
window popped up. But the files "/var/log/installer/syslog" and
"/var/log/installer/partman" do not exist.

Unfortunately, I cannot open any windows because I chose to just install
Ubuntu rather then starting a live session. Have I attached the correct
file? How can I attach multiple files? (Sorry, I'm new here.)
