I don't think versioning is working correctly when this is built from a git tree that is not upstream. For example, I build this from my packaging branch, and I get:
ubuntu@bionic-nvdimm:~$ pmempool --version pmempool debian/1.3.1-0ubuntu1_ppa5-43-g1b3d0af ubuntu@bionic-nvdimm:~$ cat /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pkgconfig/libvmmalloc.pc version=debian/1.3.1-0ubuntu1_ppa5-43-g1b3d0af libdir=/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu prefix=/usr includedir=${prefix}/include Name: libvmmalloc Description: libvmmalloc library from NVML project Version: ${version} URL: http://pmem.io/nvml Requires: Libs: -L${libdir} -lvmmalloc Cflags: -I${includedir} We'll see what the PPA gets. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1752378 Title: Please add Userspace Packages for NVDIMM support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1752378/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
