This is still a problem. Burner apps like k3b does detect the drive. And I can also burn standard stuff with command line burner tools like wodim and the likes.
The all of these tools doesn't identify my Blu-ray burner as a Blu-ray burner. Even when inserting a Blu-ray disc, they all think it's just a DVD, and thus complains there isn't enough room. ImgBurn (via Wine) says it can't detect the drive. I need to use ImgBurn because it's my only way of getting UDF 2.5 since there's no UDF 2.5 available for Linux. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1737671 Title: Blu-ray burner no longer detected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1737671/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
