Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
I was unable to reproduce this issue on my 18.04 system. Looking at the list of files included in the package on https://packages.ubuntu.com/bionic/amd64/libdouble-conversion1/filelist, and they were also present on my local install. Additionally, the package version is unchanged between 17.10 and 18.04, so the package should be the exact same (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /double-conversion/2.0.1-4ubuntu1). Could you please post the output of `dpkg -L libdouble-conversion1` as this will list which files on your system are installed from the package. Also, please run the following command (only once), to automatically gather and add debugging information like version numbers to the bug report: apport-collect 1770208 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs. ** Changed in: double-conversion (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Tags added: bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770208 Title: Updated version for bionic beaver doesn't include .so files To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/double-conversion/+bug/1770208/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
