I have attached the output of "dpkg -l | grep linux | grep extra". The
output of that command was the same across both kernels
4.13.0-43-generic and 4.13.0-39-generic.

An important thing I would like to add is: the problem I had mentioned
regarding black screen, low-graphics, dialog boxes, and no wifi happens
9/10 times in kernels 4.13.0-43-generic and 4.13.0-41-generic.

But, 1/10 times those kernels boot absolutely normally, and wifi also
works at that time.

It seems to me that maybe sometimes the OS cannot detect certain things
(devices/drivers) during boot-up. Could this be due to a virus or
hardware problem?

Thanks!
