I'm seeing the same issue. I have a k/b and mouse switch, switching
inputs causes it to crash as well. The USB switch has 3 devices hooked
in: 1. KB 2. Mouse 3. Logitech G430 headset.
I see the following in the logs:

A reboot clears the issue out temporarily.
