I don't think it is a ppa related problem, as the upgrade procedure disables all ppa links in sources.
Looking at the logs, I have found this line: ERROR Dist-upgrade failed: 'E:Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.'
