Followed the instructions from "Gabriel N. <[email protected]>", posted Fri, 05th Oct 2018, works fine for me, just changed the ./configure-option from defaults to "--prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc --localstatedir=/var".
After install the patched libsane1_1.0.27-1~experimental3ubuntu2_amd64.deb, do a "ldconfig" and start the simple-scan prog, booting the OS was not necessary. Both of my Lide 100 now works as expected. Hope the ubuntu-guys would insert this simple patch in the near time also ... greetings to all /chris -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1785587 Title: lide100 scanners produce a white/orange band in scanned images on Ubuntu 18.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sane-backends/+bug/1785587/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
