Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 18.04.1 amd64 server-live installer:
It would be nice to offer a UI to cancel the installation. So far while
following the menu navigation users can click "back" several times but
then only end up on the first installer prompt (language selection).
There is no way to 'gracefully' cancel an installation.
It may be desirable to provide a menu option to cancel an installation.
If this is selected, users should be informed about whether permanent
changes have been made to their system in the meantime. User should be
informed where subiquity and curtin installer logs are to be found.
If this option is added, consider trapping the ACPI power button signal
so it also points users to this screen.
Further improvement (provide further options):
* Run ubuntu-bug subiquity
* Drop to a shell (an option currently only available when the installation
fails fatally - or by switching TTYs, which not all virtualization environments
are good at)
** Affects: subiquity (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
