I've just tried out the Compiz application switcher on Fedora 8 and I've noticed that it's implementation is much smoother than that of Gutsy's. It's basically the same thing except when switching the windows in the background, they each come to the front through a fade of dark to light. If Hardy does the same (or Gutsy for that matter) we would solve this bug.
