I'm still having this issue with my Dell Inspiron 5570 and a Ubuntu 18.04 fully
updated install.
I had this issue since i bought it (6 months ago), but now its even worse.
Right now my wifi keeps disconnecting and a hard reboot is required to make it
work again.

Also, the wifi icon on the top panel keeps showing an interrogation
instead of the wifi icon.

Restarting the Network manager results on an inability to detect any
wifi connections.

I have several errors in dmesg when this happens like ( failed to wake
target to writing ... )
