No worries on the "invalid" . . . this issue was "publicly reported" on
the list serve by another individual and I was the only person to
respond to it there . . . possibly I CCd you on it as well to which no
reply was posted to the several posts that were sent there by the two of
us.

I assumed that the "applications" folder/directory in linux is "similar"
to OSX, where the "Applications" folder contains . . . the applications
. . . rather than what I'm now assuming would be an "alias" that might
be used to open or launch said application . . . ???

In OSX >application folder, right-clicking on the Maps icon shows
"9.7MB" of content . . . so it appears that in linux the "applications"
directory in pcmanfm-qt does not contain "applications."

My apologies for cross-posting two bugs within one bug . . . I'm sure
that any devs coming across the bug will be able to figure it out,
another bug report was filed for a problem likely posted on the list
serve previously.
