Public bug reported:

Commissioning of new nodes on maas fails due to segfault in lshw, more
specifically in 00-maas-01-lshw step.
The log output is
/tmp/user_data.sh.9Xnacy/scripts/commissioning/00-maas-01-lshw: line 6: 2514
Segmentation fault sudo -n /usr/bin/lshw -xml

lshw exits with Segmentation fault even if launched directly from the
shell

ubuntu@model-seal:/var/crash$ sudo lshw
Segmentation fault
ubuntu@model-seal:/var/crash$

However the same command works correctly if launched with --disable SCSI
option

The environment is the ephemeral stage of maas 2.4 with ubuntu 18.04.2
LTS
