Well, for gutsy we would have to go for an sru: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates
for which I have mixed feeling if this bug would justify it. For hardy the only change would be the distribution, and the version to which it would apply which is the one currently in hardy. Since this is the same as your patch used I could just change the distribution myself and upload it. However, there is a new upstream version out (1.1-beta3): http://members.hellug.gr/sng/gwenrename/ and I expect that this will officially become an rc and 1.1 soon. So, can you perhaps check if this has been corrected upstream? If not if would be worth reporting it so that we would just update our version without any need to patch it for hardy. ** Changed in: gwenrename (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => xtknight (xt-knight) Status: Confirmed => In Progress ** Changed in: gwenrename (Ubuntu Hardy) Importance: Undecided => Low ** Changed in: gwenrename (Ubuntu Gutsy) Importance: Undecided => Low Status: New => Triaged -- package gwenrename None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/gwenrename.list] failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite `/usr/share/icons/hicolor/32x32/apps/gwenview.png', which is also in package gwenview https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/140012 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
