Public bug reported:
I use kubuntu, a relatively recent install of 18.04.
It is impossible to change default application settings. Changing from kMail to
Thunderbird is possible, just as from whatever to Chrome. I click 'Apply', and
when I go back, nothing has been saved, but the previous settings show up
again.
Always when I start Chrome, it tells it is not the default browser. Then
I click to make it the default browser. Though next time starting, it
tells me once again it is not the default browser.
This is not really dangerous, but annoying.
** Affects: systemsettings (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
