Public bug reported:
bionic ships with libsdl-mixer-2.0-0, containing library version 2.0.2, which
includes a regression:
The library's initialization routine Mix_Init() will erroneously report various
music formats (e.g. Ogg Vorbis) to be unavailable.
The regression is fixed in library version 2.0.3, as described in the "Changes"
section at https://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/.
I recommend updating the library version to >= 2.0.3.
Please check the attached test case (required linker flags are -lSDL2
-lSDL2_mixer).
