These two should -mzvector as well I think. But GCC will not complain
about -mzvector being used with -march=zEC12. -mzvector does only enable
certain language extension and will not affect code generation.

Do these temporary binaries need to use the same build options as the
library? If these are just helper binaries for the build perhaps there
is a separate CFLAGS variable just for those?
