After taking a look at the logs and speaking to the hyperscale team it would appear that this is leaning towards being a kernel signing issue, affecting specifically x-gene/uboot systems w/ bionic-hwe-edge
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/kernel-team/2019-May/100625.html The following patch should fix the issue, but has not landed. I have yet to be able to completely verify this is the cause as I'm waiting for hyperscale team to fix the console redirection on the cartridge. will update once I have confirmation. ** Changed in: ubuntu-kernel-tests Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: ubuntu-kernel-tests Assignee: (unassigned) => Sean Feole (sfeole) ** Changed in: ubuntu-kernel-tests Importance: Undecided => Medium -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1828553 Title: Unable to boot Bionic 5.0 linux-hwe-edge kernel on ARM64 Moonshot node To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-kernel-tests/+bug/1828553/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
