I followed the instructions but no log file was created.
I noticed in the man page for pulse-client.conf it says
extra-arguments= Extra arguments to pass to the PulseAudio daemon when
autospawning.
and in /etc/pulse/client.conf.d I see
autospan=no
I tried playing sound, running "alsa force-reload" and checking for the
log file but nothing seemed to cause that file to be created.
