Public bug reported:
Brand new installation of Ubuntu 19.04 (Disco Dingo) on laptop.
Reviewing syslog messages returned the following
Sep 4 09:36:31 REDACTED mpd[1606]: exception: failed to open log file
"/var/log/mpd/mpd.log" (config line 39): Permission denied
Sep 4 09:36:31 REDACTED systemd[1590]: mpd.service: Main process exited,
code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
Sep 4 09:36:31 REDACTED systemd[1590]: mpd.service: Failed with result
'exit-code'.
Sep 4 09:36:31 REDACTED systemd[1590]: Failed to start Music Player Daemon.
I can easily fix by modifying permissions or modifying the config file, but
reporting as this probably impacts others.
