If you did not have this problem in feisty, you can remove the kdesudo package,
to change back to the real 'kdesu'.
'sudo dpkg -P kdesudo' in a konsole.
While kdesu have some issues that kdesudo address, kdesudo introduces
its own bunch of new issues.
