To install the testing kernel: sudo dpkg -i linux-modules-xxx.deb sudo dpkg- i linux-image-xxx.deb sudo dpkg -i linux-modules-extra-xxx.deb reboot
To choose the kernel: you could press ESC button during the grub (bootloader) stage, then there is a menu you could choose the kernel. After booting up, you could run uname -a to verify the kernel you are running.
