I propose that something like the following patch could be used to skip over dkms builds for fwts if the kernel module is built-in to a specific kernel version.
I've not tried this in a final a packaged version of fwts, so I'm not 100% sure it will work, but it's a starting point. ** Patch added: "potential workaround fix" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwts/+bug/1853090/+attachment/5306741/+files/efi_runtime_makefile.diff -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1853090 Title: failed to build DKMS fwts-efi-runtime-dkms/19.11.00 against v5.4-rc1 and on: numerous compile errors To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwts/+bug/1853090/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
