Public bug reported: 1) Ubuntu 19.10 2) 1:3.34.1-1ubuntu2 3) The following kernel components should be grouped together and the user should be prevented from installing them separately: linux, linux-image, linux-modules, linux-headers. 4) A user can install linux-image but not install linux-headers. If one kernel component is missing, Ubuntu will not boot.
Someone might think linux-headers is source code and they might not download/install it. ** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1854879 Title: Group together kernel update components To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1854879/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
