I know I tried pressing some keys today when I booted up, just to confirm with myself that it was still a problem. (I have gotten into the habit of disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard every morning.) Yes, it's still a problem, and I have attached the dmesg file from today's boot to this message. (I was pressing number lock and scroll lock during the boot to see if I saw the LEDs, then I tried typing in Tomboy notes after Ubuntu did the auto-login.) Thank you for following up on this issue after our chat yesterday. I do appreciate your effort to help.
