Hi,
unfortunately, snapd insists to refresh snaps, thus possibly causing
several GB of traffic per day, blocking the network and ruining the
owner if the connection is slow and/or metered. There is no option to
turn this permanently off, only methods to schedule, delay, or to hold
refreshing if a metered connection is detected.
It is, therefore, important to be able to tell Network Manager, that a
connection is metered in order to keep snapd from ruining the user.
While I've seen screenshots showing this option in the mainstream
ubuntu's desktop settings, I do not see such an option in nm-connection-
editor, which is used e.g. by Lubuntu.
