** Description changed:

  Hi there,

  1. My existing Lubuntu setup had made the ESP partition to be msftdata
instead of boot,esp.
  2. When I select manual partitioning and then select an existing ESP
(msftdata, not sure why its msftdata) and click Edit, then set (FAT32,
/boot/efi, boot flag enabled)
  3. Then I get a false popup (EFI system partition flag not set)
  4. If I press OK and then continue, the installation works well.'

+ I think that this bug is really confusing and people are confused what to do
as they have assinged an ESP but an ESP error popup.
+ I would suggest to make this fix available for 20.04 main release as it makes
user confused.
+
  Thanks !
