Public bug reported:
If the display on the libvirt server is an IPv6 address (::1) instead of
an IPv4 address (127.0.0.1), the client cannot connect when socat is
installed on the libvirt server.

If socat is not installed on the libvirt server, it falls back gracefully to nc.
socat needs an IPv6 address to be wrapped in square brackets, eg: [::1]
nc does not encounter a problem because the host and port are separate
parameters.
