https://github.com/mate-desktop/caja/issues/1383 As suggested there, when I turn off confirmation dialog in caja, the issue reported by you arises. It seems to be the same! Could you please turn confirmation dialogs on to check if you experience the same bug as described by me? Do you need some additional info?
