I do not have snapd running on my Ubuntu desktop. (I have no snaps in use so i
don't see the point of running a daemon for them)
When upgrading from 19.10 to 20.04 the upgrade fails with an abort message and
restores the previous version.
This happens when snapd is not running on Ubuntu desktop.
There should at least be a notification that snapd is required to be running in
order to do the upgrade, or it should be mentioned in the abort message.
It took me a long time to figure out why the upgrade failed.
After enabling snapd with systemctl run snapd, the upgrade from 19.10 to
20.04 was performed normally.
