Hi! Well, yes it is (by now on gutsy!)... however I think to have found out what the *real* problem is: I have installed two different graphic-card drivers for my ATI Mobility Radeon 9600: The official ATI and a VESA driver. Since ATI does not support dual-screen the way I want it to, I usually use the VESA driver, but have to use the ATI driver when I want 3D accelerated stuff (I reconfigure xorg.conf for that matter each time I boot up). Booting with the ATI driver loaded works fine --- the VESA module seems to conflict with the battery management module, however, and crashes the battery display. If you need any more information, please feel free to ask whatever you need and I'll be happy to assist you on whatever way I can!! Clemens BTW: I *think*, back when I had only the VESA driver installed, there was the same problem -- having both drivers on the system should not be the problem!! -- systemsetting's x-window configuration crashes aber update to feisty fawn https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/110244 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
