Hi, I happen to have the same Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 7265 [8086:095a] subsystem [8086:5010] hardware as you do, and Bluetooth is loading the same blob intel/ibt-hw-37.8.10-fw-1.10.3.11.e.bseq from linux-firmware version 1.187, kernel 5.4.0-31-generic. However, I can pair bluetooth headset and play youtube video just fine.
So, please provide some more debug logs by following steps listed below: 0. Disconnect and remove/forget your current paired headset device. 1. Completely shutdown, unplug power cable or so for 1 minute. This will trigger firmware reloading for bluetooth at the next boot. 2. Boot to 5.4.0-31-generic 3. Run `sudo btmon -w btsnoop.$(uname -r)` in a separate terminal window to preserve bluetooth traffic dumps. 4. Pair and connect your bluetooth headset, 5. Run `alsa-info --no-upload --output alsa-info.$(uname -r)`, 6. Play video from Youtube. When the symptom appears, continue to next step. 7. Interrupt btmon dumping process with CTRL+C, 8. Run `journalctl -b 0 | tee journal.$(uname -r)`, 9. attach all the log files btsnoop.*, alsa-info.*, journal.* as attachments here. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1879075 Title: Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless AC 7265 [8086:095a] subsystem [8086:5010] Bluetooth sound card not detected.
