Public bug reported: I think the nm-signal-*-secure.svg images found in package ubuntu-mate- icon-themes are broken.
For example, opening '/usr/share/icons/Ambiant-MATE/status/22/nm- signal-75-secure.svg' with Inkscape dispalys multiple errors like this: nm-signal-75-secure.svg:34: namespace error : Namespace prefix inkscape for current-layer on namedview is not defined kscape:zoom="10.375" objecttolerance="10.0" pagecolor="#ffffff" showgrid="false" Opening with cairosvg prints: xml.etree.ElementTree.ParseError: unbound prefix: line 34, column 2 It seems this is the root cause of the bug reported here: Network Manager Applet Icon error on VPN Connection https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1876467 ** Affects: ubuntu-mate Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: ubuntu-mate-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: ubuntu-mate-artwork (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1879951 Title: Broken icons for secure (VPN) network in some themes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1879951/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
