Hi Rafael,

I think you should just close this bug down. As you say it was mostly my
fault for messing around with some of the installed packages, I was trying
to install MySQL 5.7 previously.

Was simple to resolve, just removed mysql-server-8.0, 'apt autoremove' and
re-installed. Worked fine the second time.

The curse of auto-report :-)  I thought it was a one click report for
statistics, not a full blown bug report, I will click with caution next
time.
