Thanks Lucas and Simon. Good to know there's already a way to make this work.
I do believe there's some user experience to be improved here. The openvpn packages currently ships with a script version that doesn't work out-of-the-box, even though there is an optional script available that does work. Shouldn't it be the other way around, now that ubuntu uses systemd-resolved by default? (Also, this script looks like a reimplementation of resolvectl in bash. Feels like a PITA to maintain, compared to a simple script that just calls resolvectl.) For future reference: the patch I posted here earlier *is not good enough*. Do not use it. resolvectl updates the list of nameservers / search domains, rather than amends it as I assumed in the patch. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1887364 Title: update-resolv-conf script needs update to systemd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openvpn/+bug/1887364/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
