the hp-tray-icon is started via gnome startup-applications on console (after killing the tray-application) this works:
hp-systray -x & sleep 15 && systemctl --user restart indicator- application.service but if i modify the existing entry to this command-line it does not (maybe this is not executed via shell). i put this into a bash-script and changed the startup-entry to this..now it works as far as i understand you this is still a problem in hplip or more indicator-applet? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1878440 Title: gnome-panel - hplip - icon-menu empty To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-flashback/+bug/1878440/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
