What I'm noticing on 20.04 is that since the (fresh) installation and enabling of secureboot, it takes well over 30 seconds before the LENOVO logo is shown on my laptop. Before that, it's just black. Any key I press during that time results in the black screen remaining indefinitely.
Once the logo appears, booting is pretty fast. I have not experienced (or perhaps noticed, since the screen remains black for such a long time) that the system is booting twice on every reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1870431 Title: Ubuntu booting takes a long time when secure boot is enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-signed-hwe/+bug/1870431/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
