Given I've been using the same hardware for a couple of years, I doubt it is a hardware issue. I know hardware decays over time, but it seems me much more likely this is due to one of the upgrade that apt installed just before I had this issue for the first time.
I see from /var/log/apt/history.log that linux 5.4.0-51 was installed at this point, and linux 5.4.0-47 was removed the day after. So yes, it could be a kernel issue. Of course, it can also be my mouse that misbehaves and that previous kernel version were able to work around it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1901536 Title: USB Wireless mouse randomly disconnects To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1901536/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
