Something similar happens to me. I have a new computer where I installed Ubuntu (with xfce) 20.04 Skye and Microsoft Teams, work perfectly after fresh install or for new users, but not for my user for which I copied all the data and configuration from another computer with ubuntu 18.04. I have tried to remove the .confg folder and then Skype and Teams detect the microphone, I logout/in again and it works
But when I copy the the previous configuration of other programs it fails. It took me a long time to get out, add some configuration files, in again and test what was the error and... I found that starting the owncloud desktop client at startup was blocking sound... Why? I could not get an answer to this.... but If I put owncloud at startup , then they don't detect any device!!! -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875159 Title: Official Skype on Ubuntu 20.04 "No device found" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1875159/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
