Public bug reported:
the bug is due to a php5.6 version incompatible with the php7.4 used in the
latest phpmyadmin.
Have to keep php5.6. It would therefore be a good thing that php dependant
installations check php version, alerts on it but also proposes previous
version of whatever has to be installed (here phpmyadmin - i installed the
previous version which solves my problem).
