Looking at your datasets, you have some that are expected like: rpool/ROOT/ubuntu_mj0kfs/var/www and associated snapshots: rpool/ROOT/ubuntu_mj0kfs/var/www@autozsys_17e8fr
However, you have others that are not produced by ZSys, creating a lot of duplications: rpool/ROOT/ubuntu_mj0kfs/var/www_autozsys_ly64kj (which are then taken as snapshots by ZSys rpool/ROOT/ubuntu_mj0kfs/var/www_autozsys_ly64kj@autozsys_ly64kj) Where all those *_autozsys_<id> are coming from, do you have any tool copying ZFS snapshots and creating clones from them without cleaning? I think this is the source of the timeout you are seeing, as you have too many datasets to be handled by ZSys right now. Please remove all of those *_autozsys_* datasets and associated snapshots, and find the source of what is creating those clones. ** Changed in: zsys (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1902797 Title: zsys unable to save state since upgrade to 20.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/zsys/+bug/1902797/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
